Chez Mimosa Homestay is set in a quiet alley off Đề Thám street in District 1, the central district of Ho Chi Minh City, and markets and restaurants are within walking distance. Thai Hoa Temple to Mother Buddha is 100 m away, Chợ Cô Giang market 200 m, St Anthony’s Catholic Church 250 m and Nado Playground 150 m, so a temple, a church and a market are all within a short walk of the entrance. The area is one of the most walkable parts of the city, which makes the bicycles and walking tours offered on site a practical way to explore it.
Ben Thanh Station and the Bến xe buýt Sài Gòn bus station are both 750 m away, roughly a 10-minute walk. Saigon Railway Station is 2.8 km away and Tan Son Nhat International Airport, in Tan Binh north-west of the centre, is 5.9 km, so a taxi is the practical choice for either. The last stretch to the entrance is on foot down the alley from the street.
For sightseeing, Ben Thanh Market is 950 m away, a covered market known for souvenirs, clothes and street food, and the Ho Chi Minh City Fine Arts Museum is 700 m, showing Vietnamese painting and sculpture. Tao Dan Park, 1.1 km from the property, gives a green break in the centre, while the Ho Chi Minh Museum, 1.3 km away, covers the city’s history in a single visit. Between sights, September 23 Park and Khanh Hoi Park are two green places to pause nearby.
